I was told that they offer one of the best fresh lumpia in the city and yes, it is! Their Oyster Cake and Muy Hong Fried Rice are also delicious! Will definitely go back to try their other dishes.
Fresh lumpia is really good. The best fresh lumpia so far in metro manila but finding a parking spot is a challenge. For the owner, kindly update your operating hours since it indicated 8:30am in your site. When i arrive at 9:10am today, the lady said that they are still closed and wl open at 9:40am. But yesterday morning around 915am, it was already open and i was able to buy some fresh lumpia. But this time, i had to wait for almost half an hour. Please decide what is the actual opening time of your restaurant. Thank you for your attention and understanding.
We discovered this place via a food vlogger. Sadly, there was no electricity in the establishment on our very first try. It was a hot inside, but thankfully their service crew gave us cardboard so we could fan ourselves. The food was good! It was worth it, even if there was no air conditioning inside. Their famous fresh lumpia was really, reaaaally big. We also tried their shanghai fried rice (take note that there will be no wrapped lumpiang shanghai in this order as the shanghai will be integrated with the fried rice) and fish ball soup (it was recommended by the server and it was good too). We hope to try the other foods and beverages next time since most were not available due to the lack of electricity. I uploaded their menu as of June 2024. Give it a try!

The fresh lumpia alone is reason enough to come here. Everything works in harmony — the soft, freshly made wrapper, the generous and well-balanced vegetable filling, and that signature sweet-savory sauce that ties everything together. It’s fresh, comforting, and incredibly satisfying without being heavy. You can taste the experience behind it — this is clearly a dish they’ve perfected over time. Another solid item is their kikiam. Nicely fried, flavorful, and not overly greasy, it makes for a good complement to the lumpia. It’s the kind of classic Chinese-style kikiam that hits the spot, especially when shared. The menu overall leans toward familiar, traditional offerings — nothing experimental, but well-executed staples that deliver exactly what you expect. The place itself is small, with an average, functional atmosphere. This isn’t somewhere you go for ambiance or comfort dining. Seating is tight, and the space feels very much geared toward quick meals rather than lingering. That said, it feels authentic and true to its roots — a straightforward Banawe eatery focused on food rather than frills. Service is efficient and straightforward. Orders are taken quickly and food comes out without much waiting, which works well given the limited space and steady foot traffic. As with most spots along Banawe, parking is challenging. It’s best to come with a small group, arrive early, or be prepared to walk from wherever you manage to park. Muy Hong is a must-stop on any Banawe food crawl, especially if you love traditional Chinese-Filipino comfort food. The fresh lumpia is a standout and absolutely worth the visit, while the kikiam rounds out the experience nicely. Come for the lumpia, manage expectations on space and parking, and you’ll leave very satisfied.
When we went here, they were only open for take-outs and delivery. So we got their famous fresh lumpia (Amoy style), pork siomai and pata bihon. We ordered ahead of time so that everything would be ready once we arrive. After arriving home, we immediately ate as the food were still hot. The pata bihon was so good! The fatty parts of the pata together with the bihon which absorbed the pata sauce tasted so good. It was just a great mix. Though to be honest, after a while (3rd serving ), umay sets it in, as the savory taste just becomes overwhelming. The pork siomai was excellent. It was soft, tender, and just meaty. It paired really well with the pata bihon. The fresh lumpia, well, what can I say. It was delicious! It has freshness to it, a balance between sweetness and saltiness, and that lumpia sauce just complements it so well. Everything that we ordered just tasted so good. The cooking, the quality of the ingredients, and its preparation was just well done. Actually, we also ordered kikiam but unfortunately, it was already sold out. Anway, will try again to get kikiam in our next order. Highly recommended!
When it's this good, the place doesn't have to be fancy. The food stands on it's own merit, no ambiance needed.
Super tasty with only the natural ingredients. Not to mention, the price of their dishes is affordable. I forgot to take pictures because I easily got enticed with the meals I ordered, and the tastes never disappoint. Satisfaction guaranteed.
Tried the best seller Amoy lumpia, black chicken sibot and machang. All are delicious. Place is very small.
